Navigating external factors

Overseas wars! Election year goings on!

Although these things can affect the marketplace and therefore our company, they are factors out of our control. We remain focused on what we can do to improve our business.

We are working hard to maintain our costings and fortunately are starting to see the benefits of recently-introduced operational improvements such as the rollout of Jobman scheduling software and implementation of the Lean manufacturing methodology.

As part of the latter commitment we have recently created value stream maps of both our front of house and production processes, which are enabling us to dig further into every aspect of the business and strip out inefficiencies and streamline operations. Ultimately, this will benefit both the company and our valued customers, by increasing productivity and enabling us to deliver a better overall service.

We hope you enjoy reading this latest newsletter, which contains further updates on our business and new initiatives, bios on our commercial market designers and features a spectacular recent retail job for an experienced architect in Eastbourne.
