Premium look, without premium price!
A beautifully-presented new build home in Martinborough has gone onto the property market complete with a stylish kitchen and bathroom vanity cabinetry produced by Mastercraft Kitchens Wellington.
With the design and colour palette already largely in mind, customer Angela Sinclair says she appreciated rounding off the process with designer Liam.
“We wanted the design to be quite neutral to appeal to multiple people,” says Angela.
“Visiting the showroom and meeting Liam really helped pull it all together. He gave good advice to narrow down our selections – being an architectural technician, I can sometimes have too many ideas going on!
“Liam helped us stick within our budget, but yet while still getting some nice materials and design elements incorporated for a more premium look.
“We are really happy with the finished quality – I like it more than my own kitchen!”
Liam describes the styles as “very clean and contemporary”.
“It is a neutral, Scandinavian look – a very popular choice,” he says.
“Angela had a strong, thought-out draft of the design and essentially my role was to ‘make it work’ and fine-tune selections to fit budget.
“It is a relatively cost-effective, new build kitchen – illustrating you can get a premium look, without premium price!”
Features of the kitchen include floor-to-ceiling cabinetry to maximise the use of space and create a seamless look, as well as provide a low-maintenance finish. Cabinetry above the fridge both frames the appliance while again providing additional storage.
Laminex Melteca Whitewashed Oak cabinetry used above the hob and on the side panels of the kitchen island create a nice aesthetic contrast to the use of Laminex Melteca Melamine Snowdrift elsewhere in the kitchen.
The seating opportunity provided by the kitchen island overhang creates a communal entertainment and space, and the island’s full-length end panels deliver an inexpensive framing designed effect.
