Concealed convenience

An amazing transformation was achieved in this Porirua home, where previously the front door opened straight into a basic laundry arrangement. Designer Maria worked closely with the customer to develop a clever bifold door solution that completely concealed the new laundry from the hallway, making for a much more inviting entranceway.

A previous temporary benchtop arrangement was also replaced by a stylish Laminate White Valencia 30mm from Wellington Benchtops, with washing machine and dryer rearranged neatly around a sink unit with Ikon Picton bowl.

And where there was no wall storage previously, Prime Melamine in Prime Rimu cabinetry was arranged into an aesthetically-pleasing and practical shelving solution — including with hanging options — with Häfele Warm White LED lighting completing the feature.

The customer had been seeking to improve the home for sale, which was achieved soon after this successful renovation!
