Wonderful Whitby kitchen renovations

Mastercraft Kitchens Wellington has established a particular affinity with the suburb of Whitby, where we have completed a number of beautiful custom kitchen renovations. Our experienced kitchen designers come from all around the greater Wellington region and expertly combine local knowledge with our premium factory craftsmanship to deliver solutions that match your personal vision while retaining your home’s unique character.

One such example is the project we’ve nicknamed the “Dark horse” (pictured), in which the elegance of a stunning dark kitchen was emphasised for group home builder, Sentinel Homes. It features Derzignatek Milan New Black textured cabinetry, with Quantum Quartz Everest engineered stone benchtops including a waterfall end to the island with a pencil arris rounding off hard edges. The dark kitchen is offset by a light and bright scullery and is complemented by bespoke laundry and wardrobe designs.

Another lovely Whitby kitchen design, with complementary home office space neatly hidden under a stairway, is our “Nautical delight” project (pictured). This very cool, nautical-themed renovation boasts a sail-shaped benchtop matched by the bespoke light fitting above. It also has some smart features that enhance plain sailing in this space such as a wine rack, Häfele LeMans corner pullout, Aventos flap door for the on-bench pantry, with a two-level pullout drawer and space tower pantry system both by Blum.

Additionally, the kitchen upgrade we nicknamed “Stylish refresh” (pictured), achieved our client’s brief of delivering a stylish, contemporary aesthetic while maximising the use of all available space. French Oak was used as a feature on the pantry doors, wall units and on-bench pantry in complement to Feather White base cabinetry units, further brought to life by selective LED strip and down lighting. The Trendstone Cala Eleganza benchtop also provides a lovely breakfast bar, enhanced by a generous tiled splashback.
