A classy and calming blend of whites and wooden tones feature in this newbuild studio kitchen and complementary lounge entertainment unit designed for a Pāuatahanui family.
Mastercraft Kitchens Wellington designer Katie credits the couple – who have been multi-returning customers over the past decade – for their vision in contributing to the contemporary kitchen design.
Dezignatek Swurves form the surround to the kitchen island – which features an overhang and curved end – where stylish contrast is also achieved through a 36mm Melteca Melamine Aged Ash trim in negative detail between the stone benchtop and cabinetry.
Floating Melamine Aged Ash shelves of the same thickness balance the centred rangehood, which also features a matching Dezignatek Swurves surround and warm LED lighting.
All white base unit doors and drawers are negative handleless, with added detail created by stepped-forward vertical panels. In contrast, Archant Edge Straight Brushed Brass handles are used on the wooden-toned fridge-freezer and pantry doors, which also complement the sink tap.
Other features of the kitchen include an integrated fridge-freezer as well as Blum Legrabox Space Tower pantry with LED lighting and fixed shelf above to enclose a microwave.
The kitchen stylishly incorporates a number of functional features in a relatively small area, while yet still achieving a sense of light and bright space.
Furthermore, the handleless lounge entertainment unit in white features a curved end to complement the kitchen theme and particularly match the shape of the bulkhead.
